Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how nGrid Energy Ltd. handles personal information collected through www.ngridenergy.com and related inquiries, including inquiries you choose to send through the website’s WhatsApp link. It does not govern electricity supply, detailed meter-data services or other services provided under a separate customer agreement.

Who is responsible for your information

Information you provide

We collect the contact and business information you submit, including your full name, mobile number, email address, company name if provided, and the contents of your message. We also keep correspondence about your inquiry and sales follow-up.

You may upload an electricity bill. Original bills may contain names, addresses, customer, account or meter identifiers, tariffs, charges and electricity-consumption information. Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry and only information you are entitled to share.

Providing information is voluntary and is not required by law. Full name, mobile number and email address are required to submit our inquiry form. Without them, we cannot process an inquiry through that form. Uploading a bill is optional. You can contact us without one, although our assessment or proposal may then be less specific.

Technical information and cookies

The website and its service providers process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, page requests and security-related logs. Where you permit analytics or advertising measurement, the relevant tools also process interaction information, online identifiers and conversion events.

Essential technologies support website operation, security and your cookie choices. Non-essential analytics and advertising-measurement technologies are blocked until you consent to the relevant category. You can accept all, reject non-essential technologies or choose categories in the preference panel.

We use Google Analytics to understand website use and Google Ads for search-advertising measurement and website conversions. We do not use remarketing. You may change or withdraw your cookie choice through Cookie Settings in the footer. Your choice does not determine whether you can submit an inquiry. Browser controls can also manage cookies, but may affect website functions.

How we use information

• To respond to inquiries, communicate with you and conduct the sales follow-up you request or reasonably expect in connection with your inquiry.
• To analyse electricity bills and consumption, assess your business’s needs and prepare or discuss a proposal.
• To improve our services and internal analysis methods, algorithms and systems. Where this involves a further use of identifiable information that requires additional consent, we ask for that consent before making that use.
• To operate, protect and improve the website, address technical problems and, subject to your cookie choices, measure website and campaign performance.
• To send promotional email and SMS only if you separately opt in, and to manage your preferences and unsubscribe requests.
• To meet applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The fact that information may be useful to us does not by itself authorise a new use. We do not treat acceptance of website terms, ordinary browsing or an inquiry as blanket permission for unrelated processing or marketing.

Who receives information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Our team uses information for the purposes described in this policy. We use the following providers and channels:

• Webflow hosts the website and stores form submissions and uploaded bills.
• Google Workspace and Google Drive support email, internal handling and storage of inquiries and bills. Transfers from Webflow are handled manually.
• OpenAI’s ChatGPT Business/Enterprise is used to process original electricity bills, including personal identifiers they contain, for bill analysis and the internal improvement purposes described above. This is processing by an external provider, not solely within nGrid’s own systems.
• Google receives technical and interaction information through Google Analytics and Google Ads when you permit the relevant measurement category.
• GITAM receives contact details of campaign leads for campaign management and performance or conversion measurement. We do not provide GITAM with electricity bills or consumption data, and it does not contact leads on our behalf.
• If you choose WhatsApp, your messages are handled through WhatsApp and kept in our company WhatsApp account for inquiries and sales follow-up. We do not use this channel for proactive promotional campaigns. WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices also apply to its service.
• Website support services, including the Enable accessibility toolbar, may receive the technical information needed to deliver their features.

We may also disclose relevant information to authorities or professional advisers where required by law or reasonably necessary to address legal proceedings or protect legal rights. Such disclosure is not permission for unrelated marketing.

Processing outside Israel

Some providers operate or process information outside Israel, where privacy laws may differ. International processing is subject to applicable Israeli transfer requirements. This policy does not itself replace the legal and contractual safeguards required for a transfer.

How long information is kept

We retain information for as long as it is needed for a legitimate, defined purpose described in this policy, including handling inquiries and proposals, permitted follow-up, legal obligations and legal claims. This may include information about inquiries that do not result in a customer relationship.

We review the continued need for retained information at least annually and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. The review covers information in Webflow and the other systems used to handle it. Limited suppression and consent records may be kept to respect your choices and demonstrate how they were obtained. Retention for a legitimate purpose is not an independent permission to collect or reuse information unlawfully.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No website, communication method or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not include passwords or unrelated sensitive information in a message or bill upload.

Your rights and choices

Subject to Israeli law, you may request access to personal information about you held in a database. If information is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date, you may request correction or deletion under the applicable statutory procedure. You may also ask us to delete other information; we will assess the request against applicable law and any continuing retention obligations. These rights are not an unconditional right to erase every record.

To make a request, email info@nGridEnergy.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Please do not send an identity-document copy unless we explain why it is needed.

You can unsubscribe from promotional messages through the method included in the message or by contacting us. You can withdraw non-essential cookie permission through Cookie Settings. A marketing opt-out does not prevent replies to an inquiry you make or necessary non-promotional communications.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our website, practices or legal requirements. The Last Updated date identifies the current version. Where law requires an additional notice or fresh consent, we will provide or obtain it; continued browsing is not a substitute for required consent.
